This section provides basic information about treatment for hepatitis C. It is not meant to replace information from your medical specialist. Currently less than two per cent of people with hepatitis C are receiving treatment.
Telaprevir is a new drug recently introduced. It is used in combination with Peg-interferon and Ribavirin for people with Genotype 1. Links to information about Telaprevir on other websites.
